Most of the images in this study of the sunflower were photographed over the past two years during many early summer morning sessions. I plant these sunflowers in a location which allows the first light of day to gently caress the buds, then, days or weeks later, the blooms as they greet the sun each morning.

This is part of a series in progress, so check back once in a while, especially in late summer. There are always more discoveries to be made.
